my skin care evening routine

first to remove my facial makeup I use the Nivea visage cleansing lotion. I just spread this lotion all over my face (but not near my eyes), and then just rinse off the lotion by splashing warm water onto my face. I love this product and find it does the job well, I cannot tell you the price as I was given this product by a family friend. but I wouldn't think of it being very pricy and you should be able to find it at any drugstore that sell Nivea.

then to remove my eye makeup I just use a simple makeup wipe, I'm not stuck to one staple brand for my makeup wipes I just normally pickup what's cheap at boots because I find they all give the same results and I go through them very quickly.

I then don't use this every evening, normally when I'm having a break out or going out the following day, but I would then apply this face mask which I do love and find it works lovely on my skin, it does dry it out slightly but by then applying a moisturiser its perfect. this product is part of the superdrug's own brand, meaning it is cheap at £3 but does work so I then wouldn't contemplate in buying a more expensive brand or product.

to then make sure all my makeup is removed and to exfoliate my face, I use the Garnier Pure Active Exfo-Brusher Wash ideal for fighting spots and fades marks. this is my favourite skin care item I own, and it's only £3 in superdrug, after using this my face defiantly feels squeaky clean.

I apply this product by twisting the applicator and squeezing the bottle so the product appears on the bristles. then in a circular motion I spread the product across my entire face.

the product it's self works by removing any dead skin cells from your face, this cleanses the pores deeply, and protects your skin from spots. using this product you can strait away see a huge difference in the appearance of your skin it feels and looks cleaner.

then to make sure every last part of makeup was removed and all the now open pores are clean, I apply the clean and clear deep cleansing lotion for sensitive skin. this also helps prevents spots. this is applied by putting the product on a cotton pad, then wiping it all over my face, what I love about this product (that may sound a bit strange..) is that when you wipe this over a blemish the spot does then sting, to me this means the products working, and I don't immediately see a difference but I do feel refreshed in my skin and cleaner.

then I only normally apply this on a cold day if my skin feels dry or dehydrates, it's the No7 soft & soothed gentle toner I just use this product to hydrate my skin after deeply cleansing it, this is nice to apply to refresh you skin.

after that I apply a moisturiser to protect my skin, again this is very hydrating and I don't splash out on a expensive moisturiser because I use this every evening and use it up quickly, this one works perfectly at only £2.

then if I have an active blemish I apply sudocrem to my face this dry outs the spot and I find it's speeds the clearing process. again I love this and would recommend it you notice a difference as soon as you wake up and its very cheap.

then to prevent dark circles I use the simply pure aqua hydrating eye gel. I'd say I'm not in love with this product and you get what you pay for at £2 but it's okay and does make a small difference but not noticeable within around the first 3 days.

I apply this product under the eye with my ring finger and gently dab the product below my eyes I don't rub the product in because I find it doesn't work as well as dabbing it.

lastly to keep my lips moisturised I use my jack wills lip balm in english rose, this smells lovely and floral, and it is very moisturising. this again was a gift so I'm not sure on profits but it works wonderfully.

all these products work well on my skin and I do have sensitive skin that a mixture of oily and dry in places.

disclaimer - all these products I found well for my own skin type and was bought with my money or from friends and family.

i'm a twin

so yes, i have a twin. her name is Hannah and no were not identical, but some how people still get are names occasionally mixed up. we have always been completely different and in looks and personalities. I've always been smaller than Hannah and she used to be so much taller than me i looked about 4 years younger that her, i was around the height of her shoulder this was at age 6 or 7. Hannah has also always had darker eyes, hair and slightly darker skin than me. we also have different personalities Hannah loves music and drama and i will literally wee myself on a stage, i loved more art and designing things.

me and Hannah at age 1 on holiday

even though we looked different and were different clothing size my mum couldn't resist but to dress us the same, and i don't blame her, if i had twins i would dress them the same. but as we grew older we realized we didn't like to wear the same thing and we preferred different styles. Hannah loved dresses and more girly things but i liked just comfy clothes.

age 5 in ballet

we also used to do do the same activities and we did a fair few, like ballet, tap, swimming, horse riding and gymnastics. then again we grew up and preferred doing things with friends than going to swim or ride a horse. so now we do some activities like i do dancing and Hannah ice skates but we'd never so each others.

not at our best age 10

although all siblings argue and yes me and Hannah do a lot, we normally just ending laughing about it after. we are very close and always have been, and have been through a lot together. i think part of i helps because we so different were more like friends.

 age 14

the one thing we have both always had in common is makeup and fashion although it may be different types we like, we both love going shopping and trying new makeups and brands.

 age 14

i love being a twin and cant imagine not having one, and i probably don't appreciate Hannah a lot but she knows i love her and she's someone who understands me like no one else and i can tell her anything.

ooo, a ginge and a red head, age 15

last day of school, age 15

this is are most recent picture together and if you want to see my sisters blog ours are very simular as it used to be our joint account but because we like different things we decided to make individual ones.

bare minerals foundation

I purchased this product a while ago on a plane, while I was going on holiday to Barbados. i had heard this product was amazing if you suffer from acne, the foundation is mineral based so it's good for the skin, my friend had got this for her birthday and she tried it on me and I loved the look it gave on my skin but the box set was £100 and I couldn't afford it. on the plane the product was a lot. cheaper at only £35 so I decided to buy it.

I had left the product for a while to use up my other foundations, and I really forgot about it, I then recently broke out and I do have prom coming up, so i really needed something to get rid if them but I like to have coverage on my skin, so I was going through my makeup to see if I had any foundations that said they prevented acne and I found this again.

it is a powdered foundation and you don't need a lot of it to cover your skin, I found that you can't see it's applied on your skin but after around 7 seconds you can notice the coverage.

I apply the foundation in a circular motion using this bare escentuals brush that came in the set it does a great job and is a perfect size. this brush also doesn't damage your skin from the fibres it's made with in the hair.

I love the packaging of the product because it's easy to save a lot of it. you twist the applicator and can then pour the powder into the lid. I then dip the brush into the powder to apply into the skin

I'd rate this product a 4/5 I cannot fault it i will carry on to buy the product in the future if I can find it cheaply because the one problem with it is the price it is quite expensive but it is an amazing product

maybelline colour tattoo 24hr

this is the maybelline colour tattoo 24 hours. I purchased this particular product at boots for £4.99, which is an amazing price for what you get, you don't need a lot of the product when applying because it's only for your eye lid, and it blends with other colours beautifully.

I got this in the colour '65 - pink gold' and I love it. this colour looks lovely under pink or champagne eye shadows, it makes the colour stand out more. even though I love my neural colours I went for a slightly pinkier colour, because I have a few brown eye shadows already, I wanted something different.

the product is very creamy and thick, it has a lovely consistency, however I don't think these do stay on for 24 hours but that doesn't matter because I take all my makeup off when I go to bed, and I'm not awake for 24 hours everyday.

one of the things I love about this product is that you can use this both as a eyeshadow base or because it is coloured just your eyeshadow if your in a rush.

another great thing is that you don't need to use your brushes to apply this product so if you don't have a lot of brushes or don't want to ruin them by using them everyday you can use this by just applying it with your finger.

this is a small sample of what the colour looks like on the skin. I think this colour would suit all skin tones and looks lovely on, you can blend this in with other eyeshadow colours or leave it on its own.

I'd rate the product 5/5 I cannot fault this product at all, it's simply lovely and I do plan on buying more colours that would probably be neutral so I can wear them under my other eyeshadow's i have. I would definatly recommend this product to anyone no matter how amazing you are at applying makeup because this is easy and simple to use.

disclaimer - I bought this product with my own money, and I'm only showing it because I thought other people would like to see it and I wanted to share what I thought about it.

little lipstick review

so I have recently decided on wearing more lipsticks, and because I didn't own any this did mean I went shopping (no surprise). I thought i don't want to spend lots of money incase I didn't like the way lipstick looked on me, or if the colour suited me etc. so I wanted some that we're cheap. also because I hadn't worn them much before I didn't want them to look really vibrant on my lips incase I don't like the look. so I decided on buying 2 nude colours and 2 vibrant colours, so I'd know what suited me, and I love them all.

natural collection in biscuit (boots, £1.99)

I love how the natural collection lipsticks sit on my lips, they're very moisturising and the colour comes out amazingly. this particular lipstick is in the shade 'biscuit' it is a nude/orange colour and looks lovely on, I have an olive skin tone so I think these colours look lovely on, but I do think you defiantly get what you pay for because this product is so cheap it doesn't stay on for very long you do have to re-apply the lipstick after about 2 hours, but it's good for what you pay for.

natural collection in crimson (boots £1.99)

I then decided to get a more vibrant colour to see if it looked nicer than a nude tone, and I don't think it looks as bad as I was thinking, I do quite like it, I'm not someone to go all vibrant in any clothes or makeups I like my dull neutral colours, but I do like this shade, however again it doesn't last on your lips for very long, i'd say this one lasts longer than the biscuit shade, but this is probably because it's more vibrant you notice more than a nude, I would still recommend buying these if your looking for something cheap because they do feel lovely on my lips

revlon lip butter 025 peach parfait (boots £7.99)

next is again a nude/orange colour but from the revlon lip butter range, these are very moisturing also, but the colours don't come out as vibrant as the sticker to tell you the shade, which I like because I already have a nude tone that's bright, it would be like having two of the same lipsticks. this lipsticks also more of a glossy finish, where as the the natural collection lipsticks are more matte. I do think I prefer the matte lipsticks, but again it's nice to have a range.

I then chose a second lip butter, but again another vibrant colour, instead of a second red I went for a pink colour, but I don't think it suits me as much as the reds or nudes, I will still wear this because the lip butters are less vibrant so they don't come up as vibrant on your lips.

I love all the lipsticks I purchased and I'd give the natural collection lipsticks a 4/5 because I love the colours that come out, and the packaging is good, but it doesn't last on your lips but that's understandable for the price, and I'd give the lip butters a 3.5/5 because they are expensive and not as vibrant. but they are all lovely for starting off I think and am excited to extend my lipstick collection

my life saviour concealer

collection 16 hour wear lasting perfection ultimate wear concealer

i suffer from dark circles and a lot of acne scaring, so I really rely on a good coverage concealer that doesn't break me out. and I've found it!

I bought this because zoella, was raving about it on YouTube, and I don't think I'll ever stop purchasing it. It was an amazingly affordable price at only £4.19 in superdrug. as this is my first bottle I can't say how long it will last and I do get through concealers like no body's business but it's looking good so far.

I am in the colour light 2, I prefer to buy a colour that's slightly lighter than my foundation, doing this and using the concealer under your eyes will brighten them and make you look more awake.

this concealer has a brush applicator which makes it easier to apply, I apply it where it's needed and instead of rubbing the concealer in, I pat the product into my skin as its less harsh to your skin because we have to protect our skin to prevent ageing and wrinkles, and i find it gives a better overall look.

I know some people prefer high end concealers, so if you wouldn't like a drugstore concealer I'd recommend the mac studio finish concealer it gives an amazing coverage and does last for a long time.

overall i'd rate this concealer 4.5/5 I love the overall product and price the only thing that I'd prefer about it is if it were slightly larger because I use concealer everyday, I don't think this product will last very long.
